**As of February 26, 2020, the project was not awarded because the bid received are over the budget.** The proposed work includes removing an existing building and the constructing a 1,600 square foot prefabricated metal building located at 53 meadow street across from the police department. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond, in an amount equal to five percent of the amount bid. Bid security shall be made payable to the town of windham and shall be properly executed by the bidder. At the time of contract signage, separate 100 percent performance and 100 percent payment bonds will be provided to the town of windham. The town of windham reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any and all of the bids and to award the project in the town's opinion its best interests will be served.
