Description of Services : The City intends to construct a new fire station located at 14620 Providence Road in Milton, Georgia. The new proposed facility will be approximately 15,000 square feet containing the following spaces: Lobby, station office, publicly-accessible CARES exam room, decon room, decon bathroom, day room/kitchen, fitness room, turnout gear (27 lockers), bunk rooms (9 staff), tool room, five (5) offices, training room (25 staff), an outdoor dining area, two (2) pull-through bays, Purvis Alerting System, Magnegrip Diesel Exhaust System, Bi-Fold style bay doors (Door Engineering brand preferred), SCBA Cascade System, custodial room, laundry, bunk bathrooms, public bathroom downstairs, compressor room, medical storage, and general storage. New site infrastructure will include the construction of twelve (12) parking spaces and access drives, a fueling station for unleaded and diesel including Fuel Master and Veeder Root components, a generator, outside general storage shed, and all necessary utilities/septic. Two poles, stairs and an elevator will be required if the structure is multistory. The City intends to relocate a battalion from Fire Station 44 to this facility. The performance bond and the payment bond must be in a penal amount equal to at least 100% of the GMP Cost Limitation or GMP when established. Mark Face of Envelope/Package: RFP Number: 23-PW11 The agreed daily amount for Liquidated Damages is $_1,200 per day.
