The State of Connecticut, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is seeking bids for the Cleaning and Redevelopment of Well #2 at Kensington State Fish Hatchery. The Contactor shall provide all labor, material, chemicals and equipment to satisfactorily clean and redevelop Well #2 at the Kensington State Fish Hatchery using the Aquafreed (liquid CO2) process or approved equal. Well #2 has a 7.5 Hp, 230/460 volt, 3 phase motor that spins a submersible pump. It has 8’ of 10” steel casing. It has a depth of 45+ feet. The contractor shall conduct a video inspection of the well before and after reconditioning. The contractor shall also determine the specific capacity of the well before and after redevelopment.
