The Scope of Work for This Project Includes Furnishing All Labor, Materials, Equipment, Fixtures, and Services Required for the Scope of Work Includes Furnishing of All Labor, Materials, Equipment, Fixtures, and Services Required for Guardrail Modifications and Installation at Three Locations: Iron Springs Road and Old 89a in the Prescott Area, and Cornville Road Between Beaverhead Flats Road and I-17. Iron Springs Road: 698 Linear Feet of Existing Guardrail Removal, 375 Linear Feet of New Mgs Guardrail (6' Steel Posts), 11 Tl-3 Mskt Guardrail End Terminals, 2 End Anchors, and Resetting 550 Linear Feet Existing Guardrail by Raising Standoff Blocks to Achieve Standard Rail Height. Cornville Road: Remove 9 Existing Guardrail End Treatments and Replace Them With Tl-3 Mskt Guardrail End Terminals. Old 89a: Replacement of a 263 Linear Foot Guardrail With 313 Linear Feet of New Mgs Guardrail (6' Steel Posts) and 2 Tl-3 Mskt Guardrail End Terminals. An Additive Alternate Bid is Also Requested for Additional Guardrail Work on Iron Springs Road. The Additive Alternate Bid Includes Removal of Existing Guardrail, 575 Linear Feet of New Mgs Guardrail (6' Steel Posts), 8 Tl-3 Mskt Guardrail End Terminals, and Resetting 1,136 Linear Feet Existing Guardrail. Bids Shall Include All Applicable Taxes and Must Be Accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty in the Form of a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Surety Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Contract Price Bid, Made Payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Each Proposal Shall Be Submitted, Either by Hand, U.s. Postal Service, or Other Carrier to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, 1015 Fair Street, Room 310, Prescott, Arizona 86305. Yavapai County Will Not Be Responsible for Those Bids Submitted That Are Not Marked Appropriately and/or Sent to the Wrong Address. Bidders Are Invited to Be Present at the Opening of Bids, but Absence Will Not Be Considered Cause for Disqualification. Bidders Shall Be Responsible for Any Licenses or Permits Required by the Regulatory Agency of the State of Arizona That Apply to the Performance of This Contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Formalities, and to Accept the Bid Deemed to Be in the Best Interest of Yavapai County.
