Reference number : 1596271 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-10-05 The Call for Proposals focuses on the Québec City Tramway Project - Infrastructure Component. The Rolling Stock component of the project has already been the subject of a separate call for proposals whose public notice was published on April 12, 2022 on SEAO. The Québec City Tramway Project is in line with the priorities of the governments of Quebec and Canada with respect to sustainable mobility: improving travel, reducing air pollution, strengthening communities and growing the economy. It is the backbone of the reorganization of mobility in the greater Quebec City area, including between the two shores. The Québec City Tramway Project is a 19.3 km urban tramway line that will connect the Cap-Rouge sector to the D'Estimauville sector. It will include a tunnel insertion between the Lower Town and the Upper Town. Five interchange hubs and surface and underground stations with an average spacing of 650 meters will allow access to the tram system. Finally, park-and-ride and bicycle stations will complete the intermodality offer facilitating access to the tramway system. The purpose of the Call for Proposals is to select the preferred bidder to design, build, finance and maintain the Infrastructure. The procurement process consists of two main steps: The Call for Qualifications, posted on SEAO (file 76186), with reference from MERX, under which up to three applicants could qualify and be invited to participate in the Call for Proposals for the Design, Construction, Financing and Maintenance of Infrastructure. This step has now been completed and is a prerequisite for the Call for Proposals. The Call for Proposals, which is the subject of this public notice on SEAO, at the end of which the preferred bidder will be selected. Only qualified applicants to the Call for Qualifications - Infrastructure Stream are invited to participate in this Call for Proposals. Only invited qualified candidates will receive a username and password from the City to allow them access to the electronic collaboration platform that contains all Call for Proposals documentation.
