Brown County Highway Department 711 Greasy Creek Road, P.O. Box 2088 Nashville, IN 47448 Phone (812) 988-4545 Fax (812) 988-5619 The Brown County Board of Commissioners/Highway Department will be accepting bids on the following items: Tires and Tubes (truck and equipment); Diesel Fuel and Unleaded Gasoline; Stone, Sand, Gravel and Rip-Rap; Corrugated Drainage Pipe and Box Culverts; Hauling Stone and Sand; and F.O.B. Asphalt Paving Materials (Hot and Cold Mix). The term of the contract will be calendar year 2020. Specifications may be obtained from the Brown County Highway Department. Bids will be awarded on or after December 4, 2019. A Brown County Non-Collusion Affidavit shall be submitted with each bid. A bid bond, certified check or other approved evidence of financial responsibility, as described in the specifications, shall also accompany each bid. Criteria that will be used in evaluating offers or proposals will include the following: A.Price B.Quality C.Delivery method and location of supplier D.Previous performance of Vendor with Brown County or other counties E.Whatsoever is in the best interest of Brown County This solicitation for bids may be cancelled, or any or all offers may be rejected, in whole or in part, if the Brown County Commissioners determine that it is in the best interest of Brown County to do so.
