This project is the bridge replacement on PA 36 over Mill Run near the intersection of 31st Street and resurfacing on PA 36 from SR 1009 (Frankstown Road) to SR 4005 (Mill Run Road), on Beale Avenue from 24th Street to Union Avenue, and on Union Avenue from Beale Avenue to PA 36 in City of Altoona and Logan Township, Blair County. The project includes the addition of a left turn lane, intersection modifications, paving of the roadway approaches, sign upgrades, pavement marking upgrades, guide rail upgrades, drainage improvements, high friction surface treatment, ADA upgrades, and tree removal/trimming, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 0036, Sections 31b and 034, in Blair County City of Altoona and Logan Township From Approximately Segment 0360 Offset 1394 to Approximately Segment 0500 Offset 2628.
