This Contract includes the supply of all plant, labour, materials and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of a section (approximately 345 s.m.) of "A" Wing - Roof Area #2 (Phase 1) existing roofing, roof insulation, wood blocking, metal flashings, steel access stair, safety walkway, etc. and installation of new materials as indicated in the Contract Documents. General Contractor's bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tendered quotation. The security deposit may be in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque or Negotiable security as indicated on the Tender Form. Please note that, as of August 15, 2008, any "Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit" is considered to be an acceptable "Negotiable Security". Refer to the Crown Construction Contracts Act - New Brunswick Regulation 82-109, article 16 (3) (f) for additional information. When a Bid Bond is used as Bid Security, the Contractor shall, within fourteen (14) days from notification of acceptance, furnish the Owner with a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond for an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) each of the Tender Price.
