The Douglas Park New Community Centre Project is a new construction development project located at 2795 SW 37th Avenue in Miami, Florida 33133. The Project consists of three (3) elements: Community Centre, Tennis/Basketball Courts, and Right-of-Way Enhancements. Work shall be done by a bonded Contractor whose principal business is pest control and termite treatment and can show evidence of at least 5 years of successful operation in this field. Effectiveness of treatment is warranted for not less than 5 years without additional cost to the City of Miami, by means of a 5-year repair and replacement bond. If Contractor fails to remove excess debris promptly, the City of Miami reserves the right to remove the debris at Contractor's expense. The Douglas Park New Community Center is a new construction development project located at 2795 SW 37th Avenue in Miami, Florida 33133. The Community Center is a one (1)-story, 108,769 square foot-project will provide a safe and modern facility for local children and their families to enjoy. The proposed project will have a building footprint of roughly 10,440 square feet that will consist of 5,782 square feet of indoor area and a 4,568 square foot-breezeway. The Tennis/Basketball Courts involves extensive refurbishment work on the current tennis and basketball courts. This overhaul encompasses the replacement of the concrete slab, introduction of new pickleball courts, establishment of fresh walkways, installation of a new fence, incorporation of improved lighting, and establishment of novel seating areas. The Right-of-Way Enhancements on SW 28 th Street pertain solely to the northern half of the roadway. The goal is to enhance the existing right-of-way infrastructure.
