Installtion of Gutter Guards. All bidders must examine the Drawings, read the Specifications, and visit the site of this project to fully investigate the extent and quality of the work required. Bidders shall be familiar with the location and access to construction site, availability of utilities, the condition of the site and any existing construction, and governing regulatory agencies and permit processes. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. For projects exceeding $50,000, bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA.R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification appropriate for this work. . No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, for just cause and to waive any informalities incidental thereto.
