For the construction of a certain section of State Highway in Wayne County, Sterling Township, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 3002, Section 650. The proposed project consists of the replacement of the S.R. 3002 Section 650 (Spring Hill Road) bridge over Stevens Creek located in Sterling Township, Wayne County, PA. The existing structure is a 20 foot long concrete slab that carries one lane, two way traffic over Stevens Creek. The proposed structure will involve replacement of the single span bridge in one construction stage with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert, on similar alignment, and will be widened to accommodate two lanes with shoulders per design standards. The traffic will be detoured around the project site during construction. The permanent approach roadway work will include tie-ins with the existing roadway and guiderail upgrades. All work contained within an overall length of 550 linear feet (0.104 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package.
