Removal and Replacement of the Homeland Park Road Bridge at Clay Branch on a design-build basis The work under this contract will consist of the following: The proposed design build bridges required shall be a 60' X 32' pre-stressed concrete structure, located at Homeland Park Road B1idge at Clay Branch including approaches, guard rails, striping, 100' asphalt tie-ins (each directions), road closure barricades for both approaches and include all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, incidental items to provide a complete design build basis acceptable to the GDOT Bridge Engineer. The successful bidder must be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, as well as a Certificate of Insurance. A statement from the bidder's bonding company shall accompany the bid bond stating that the bidder can submit a Payment and Performance Bond, in accordance with the contract documents, within ten days of award of contract. The low bidder must furnish proof that they are a Georgia Department of Transpmtation Certified Contractor before a contract will be executed. The City of Folkston reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner.
