The City of Americus is seeking bids for Roof Replacement Work. 1003 Oak Avenue / Water Works Building 104 Mill Creek Road / Office Building 104 Mill Creek Road / Shop Building 104 Mill Creek Road / Watering Building 513 Southerfield Road / Booster Station 800 Elm Avenue / Water Well Building Oak Grove Cemetery / Office Buiilding Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. Remove existing shingles and haul away to an approved landfill. 2. Replace damaged roof decking as needed. 3. Install Tyvek Protec 160 underlayment or equivalent. 4. Install Standing Seam metal roof to include all necessary materials, labor and equipment for new roof (flashing, ridge cap, valley metal, neoprene roof jacks, fasteners etc.). 5. Remove existing soffit and haul away to an approved landfill. 6. Replace soffit with fiber cement board materials. 7. Prime and Paint with two finish coats of white semi-gloss latex paint. 8. Remove roofing material at shed roof between Main Building and Storage tank located at the southwest corner of the main building. 9. Replace damaged roof decking and trim boards at shed roof as needed. 10. Install Standing Seam metal roof on shed roof to include all necessary materials for new roof (flashing, ridge cap, valley metal, neoprene roof jacks, fasteners etc.). 11. Pressure wash Prime and Paint under shed roof area with two finish coats of white semi-gloss latex paint. 12. Clean up all work areas and haul away debris to an approved landfill. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. Remove existing roofing materials and insulation boards and haul away to an approved landfill. 2. Remove curb flashing and gravel stop and haul away to an approved landfill. 3. Install new roof to include new insulation boards, new self-adhered rubber roofing (60 mil), new curb flashing, new gravel stop, new pipe boots, and all necessary hardware (screws, sealant, sealer, primer etc.) for new rubber roof installation. 4. Contractor will coordinate with HVAC contractor for installation of new roof top unit. 5. Clean up all work areas and haul away to an approved landfill. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. Remove existing roofing materials and insulation boards and haul away to an approved landfill. 2. Remove curb flashing and gravel stop and haul away to an approved landfill. 3. Install new roof to include new insulation boards, new self-adhered rubber roofing (60 mil), new curb flashing, new gravel stop, new pipe boots, and all necessary hardware (screws, sealant, sealer, primer etc.) for new rubber roof installation. 4. Clean up all work areas and haul away to an approved landfill. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. Remove existing sprayed on roof and haul away to an approved landfill. 2. Build roof to create a shed roof with a minimum 4/12 pitch, pitching the water to the east side. 3. Install Standing Seam metal roof to include all necessary materials, labor and equipment for new roof (flashing, ridge cap, valley metal, neoprene roof jacks, fasteners etc.). 4. Enclose all new soffit / ends with fiber cement board. 5. Prime and Paint with two finish coats of white semi-gloss latex paint. 6. Clean up all work areas and haul away debris to an approved landfill. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. Remove existing terracotta caps and haul away to an approved landfill. 2. Build roof to create a shed roof with a minimum 4/12 pitch, pitching the water to the west side. 3. Provide an overhang of 3 feet at the door area with added support as needed. 4. Install Standing Seam metal roof to include all necessary materials, labor and equipment for new roof (flashing, ridge cap, valley metal, neoprene roof jacks, fasteners etc.). 5. Enclose all new soffit / ends with fiber cement board. 6. Prime and Paint with two finish coats of white semi-gloss latex paint. 7. Clean up all work areas and haul away debris to an approved landfill. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. Remove existing terracotta caps and haul away to an approved landfill. 2. Build roof to create a shed roof with a minimum 4/12 pitch, pitching the water to the west side. 3. Install Standing Seam metal roof to include all necessary materials, labor and equipment for new roof (flashing, ridge cap, valley metal, neoprene roof jacks, fasteners etc.). 4. Enclose all new soffit / ends with fiber cement board. 5. Prime and Paint with two finish coats of white semi-gloss latex paint. 6. Clean up all work areas and haul away debris to an approved landfill. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. A Professional Engineer will inspect existing conditions of roof for designing a new roof system. 2. The design, method and material will be submitted to the Owner for approval. 3. Once the Professional Engineer's design, method and material are approved by the owner the Engineer will develop a scope of work, provide two sets of stamped plans, one digital set along with specifications sheets to the Owner. 4. The Building Contractor will follow the Engineer's scope of work and follow the method, materials and specifications that have been designed by the Engineer and approved by the Owner. Furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment for; 1. A Professional Engineer will inspect existing conditions of roof for designing a roof replacement system. 2. The design, method and material will be submitted to the Owner for approval. 3. Once the Professional Engineer's design, method and material are approved by the owner the Engineer will develop a scope of work, provide plans and specifications sheets to the Owner. 4. The Building Contractor will follow the Engineer's scope of work, plans and specifications that have been designed by the Engineer and approved by the Owner.
