The City of Port St. Lucie desires to obtain quotations from qualified individuals, firms, and legal entities that are registered as a Non-Profit 501(C)(3) corporation and For-Profit corporations relative to the construction of affordable housing at 1549 SW Janette Avenue, Port St. Lucie, Florida. This project is federally funded through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). The Contract period is estimated at three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days with no renewal options. It is the intent of the City to enter into a lump sum contract with one (1) qualified Non-Profit or For-Profit Contractor to provide all of the labor, supervision, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, permits, transportation, utilities, and other incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents and the 2019 New Construction Specifications manual. It is the intent of the City to enter into a lump sum contract with one (1) qualified Non-Profit or For-Profit Contractor to provide all of the labor, supervision, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, permits, transportation, utilities, and other incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents and the 2019 New Construction Specifications manual. This project is to construct an affordable single-family residence at 1549 SW Janette Avenue located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The single-family residence is to be 1,400 square feet under air with a 2-car garage equal to 400 square feet. The single-family residence is to be constructed in accordance with the 2019 New Construction Specification manual identified as Attachment A. The City may not accept proposals from firms that have had adversarial relationships with the City or firms that have represented entities that have had adversarial relationships with the City. This includes the firm, its employees and their financial or legal interests.The City will not enter into a contract or conduct business with any firm or any personnel that is listed on the Federal, State, or other local government agencies, Excluded Parties List, Suspended List or Debarment List. The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified Proposers, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City.
