As of May 21 2020 this project doesn't have and awarded bidder. The project work consists of streambank improvements of Kildeer Creek between IL Route 22 from the north and Quentin Road on the East. Work includes tree clearing and grubbing; streambank excavating and reshaping; stone, toe, barb, and sill installation; gabion installation; wetland and prairie plantings; and goose fence installation. Work will also include the restoration of areas disturbed during construction. The successful bidder shall warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm and that there will not be an escalation at time of construction. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth above. The Village further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Village.
