The Work generally consists of replacement of the kitchen floor and providing epoxy coating throughout inmate showers in housing pods. Bids received after the announced time and date for submittal, whether by mail or otherwise, will be rejected. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their Bid is received before the deadline indicated. Bids submitted by telephone, telegraph, email, text message, or facsimile shall not be accepted. Based upon a Notice to Proceed within forty-five (45) calendar days from the opening of the bid, Work included in this Contract shall be Substantially Complete per the phased schedule below. Kitchen floor scope of work shall be finally complete no later than sixty (60) calendar days after Substantial Completion of Kitchen Phase 2a and shower scope of work shall be finally complete no later than sixty (60) calendar days after Substantial Completion of Shower Phase 13. Kitchen phases and shower phases shall be performed simultaneously with each individual phase substantially complete and ready for occupancy as follows: a. Kitchen Phase 1 - Substantially complete and ready for occupancy 84 days after Notice to Proceed. b. Kitchen Phase 2a - Substantially complete and ready for occupancy 56 days after Substantial Completion of Kitchen Phase 1. c. Kitchen Phase 2b - Substantially complete and ready for occupancy 14 days after Substantial Completion of Kitchen Phase 2a. d. Shower Phase 1 - Substantially complete and ready for occupancy 42 days after Notice to Proceed. e. Shower Phases 2 thru 13 - Substantially complete and ready for occupancy 14 days after Shower Phase 1 and then each subsequent preceding phase.
