As of November 15, 2019, the General contracor has stated that all trades on this project are let. Copies of bidding and contract documents are on file at the office of the Engineer, Stantec Inc., 1001 Lakeside Avenue, Suite 1600, Cleveland, Ohio 44114, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, where they are available for inspection. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Each proposal must be signed and shall be submitted on the forms provided, must contain the full names of the party or parties making the same and all persons interested therein, and must be accompanied by a bid bond for 100% of the Bid amount or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank made unconditionally payable to the City of North Royalton in amount of equal to not less than 10% of the Bid amount submitted by the bidder. The character and amount of the Bid Performance Bonds are also stated in the Instructions to Bidders. All proposals shall be in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code and the contracts shall be awarded in accordance with the provisions thereof. The regulations of the State of Ohio relative to the procurements of labor, wage rates and hours of employment shall apply. The Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of North Royalton, Drug Free Workplace Policy for Municipal Construction Projects, shall apply. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after scheduled closing date for receipt of bids. All questions during the bidding period shall be in writing, directed to Janet Kern-Vannoy, janet.kern-vannoy@stantec.com, and will be addressed by addendum. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
