Reference Number 0000261979 Question Deadline 01/23/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg invites tenders from qualified bidders for the repair of fire separations at Children's (CH/CK) Hospital, as per the Contract Documents. 1Work under this section includes all labour, materials, equipment, services, safety requirements and supervision necessary for and incidental to the completion of all necessary demolition activities. It shall be at the Contractor's discretion which sub- contractor performs any specific item of demolition, but no extras will be allowed for failure of any such sub-contractor to include the respective demolition or for overlapping decisions regarding work necessary for this contract. The demolition work shall include, but will not be limited to the following items: 1Provision and maintenance of dust and weatherproof hoarding to protect the remaining building elements, contents and users of the building as indicated in Sections 01 35 13 and 01 5000. 2 If required by activities during the demolition process, to supply watchmen during 24 hour period until such is no longer deemed to be required. 3All other demolition work required completing the contract, whether or not specifically identified herein. 4 Demolition items noted on drawing and/or schedules/photographs shall be reviewed in detail and included as part of this Section of work. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and an Agreement to Bond, issued by a Surety Company licensed to conduct business in Canada, and acceptable to the Owners. The Bid Bond shall be in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount The accepted bidder shall provide Performance and Labour and Material Bonds as described in Supplementary Condition GC11.2 Bonds, as amended. 50% performance bond and 50% L&M bond are required. The Contractor shall provide and maintain liability insurance in respect of owned and licensed vehicles subject to limits of not less than $2,000,000 inclusive.
