As of October 19, 2023, Project is in City of Ashland - FY 2024-2029 CIP, construction to begin in Fall 2023. *The original solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The purpose of this project is the continued protection of the City's drinking water system through specific safety improvements of Hosler Dam. The City recently completed its Eighth Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Part 12 inspection of Hosler Dam and associated appurtenances. In conjunction with the inspection the Potential Failure Modes Analysis (PFMA) were updated. A major point of emphasis with respect to the PFMA update is the potential erosivity of the left abutment under defined flood loading conditions. Additional dam improvements will be defined through detailed evaluation of the spillway and spillway structures and dam piping penetrations. Consultant selection is anticipated to result in the issuance of a contract for professional engineering services in a form substantially similar to the one provided in this RFP. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
