Addition and repairs to the Hospital building. The scope of the project includes construction of an addition - Surgical Technical Platform that will house all operating areas of the facility including four operating rooms, three coronary care beds, eight intensive care beds, eight stretchers in the recovery room, and 22 day-surgery stretchers, a room for ophthalmic surgery and two rooms for endoscopy. The scope of the project also includes addition and renovations to the Hospital Block T and to the Food Service department of the Hospital. The project will be done in one phase that will allow to do it in a shorter timeframe. The project may be implemented following conventional mode with a general contractor or in a turn-key method. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning are in a very advanced stage. The owner has awarded the firm Les Services Exp Inc to provide commissioning services for the project. Working drawings are expected to begin in late fall 2024. Tender for the general contractor is preliminary slated for mid-/late spring 2025.
