The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the following improvements: Longview Drive/ Buena Vista Trail (base bid) - intersection alignments to remain in their current locations; northbound left turn lane to Buena Vista Trail; northbound right turn to Longview Drive; Southbound left turn lane to Longview Drive; reconstruct WVR 760'+/-- south of Buena Vista for sight distance improvements; and reconstruct designated north bound right turn lane on Longview Drive. Major components include, but are not necessarily limited to: 3,710 CY total roadway excavation (includes cut to fill and export), 462 CY roadway excavation (cut to fill), 3,248 CY export (3,710 CY - 462 CY), 1,936 CY aggregate base material, 1,805 TONS asphaltic concrete, signing and striping, and various other improvements as shown on the construction plans and/or described in these Special Provisions. Cliff Rose Road/Pemberton Drive (additive alternate bid) - realign Pemberton Drive to align with Cliff Rose Road; southbound designated left turn lane to Cliff Rose Road; northbound designated right turn lane to Cliff Rose Road; northbound designated left turn lane to Pemberton Drive; reconstruct WVR 720'+/- to the south for sight distance improvements; slope cut-back, grading, and vegetation removal along WVR; and drainage improvements at Pemberton Drive. Major components include, but are not necessary limited to: 4,109 CY total roadway excavation (includes cut to fill and export), 1,864 CY roadway excavation (cut to fill), 2,245 CY export (4,109 CY - 1,864 CY), 1,572 CY of aggregate base material, 1,552 TONS asphaltic concrete, signing and striping, and various other improvements as shown on the construction plans and/or described in these Special Provisions. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Any questions or concerns about the project will be addressed at that time. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Each proposal shall be submitted, either by hand, U.S. Postal Service, or other carrier to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, 1015 Fair Street, Room 310, Prescott, Arizona 86305. Yavapai County will not be responsible for those bids submitted that are not marked appropriately and/or sent to the wrong address. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County. All proposals shall be submitted in strict accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDING included on the website and submitted on the documents provided therein.
