The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for an asphaltic concrete overlay on Coyote Springs Road in the Coyote Springs area and County Fair Trail at the old County Fairgrounds on Hwy 89A. The Coyote Springs project length is 26,410 feet with approximately 10,174 tons of asphaltic concrete with PG 64-22 binder. The County Fair Trail project length is 3,057 feet with approximately 1,612 tons of fiber-reinforced asphaltic concrete with PG 64-22 binder. Additional work includes an asphalt rubber stress absorbing membrane interlayer as well as a CRS-2P 3/8" chip seal application on County Fair Trail. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. All proposals shall be submitted in strict accordance with the Instructions for Bidding included on the website and submitted on the documents provided therein. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Each proposal shall be submitted, either by hand, U.S. Postal Service, or other carrier to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, 1015 Fair Street, Room 310, Prescott, Arizona 86305. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County.
