Brief description of the work The work includes the design and construction of a modular building on the site of the Pierre-Boucher Hospital, located on boul. Jacques-Cartier, in Longueuil. Also included, but not limited to, the design and construction of a non-combustible link with the existing building, work in the existing relating to connections to existing electromechanical networks and any other additional work required at the existing and on the hospital site. For reference, the indications on the drawings are based on a modular prefabricated building, assembled on site forming a whole. The use of used modules is permitted. If the modules are used, they must be refurbished and in perfect condition. Refer to the Additional General Conditions. Traditional on-site construction of a combustible building is also acceptable as long as the configuration shown and the construction time frame are respected. THE TENDERS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A TENDING SECURITY ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION : In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the price of the tender and according to the form determined below: A tender bond issued by a surety and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the tender , valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of tenders.
