The Town of Cary, hereafter referred to as "Cary", is issuing this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") to solicit proposals from qualified firms, hereafter referred to as the "Consultant", to provide professional services and deliver a turn-key project, but not limited to, Condition Assessment, Review of Alternatives, and Recommendation for Replacement of various pieces of equipment, Plans, Procurement Specifications, Cost Estimate Package, Project Management and Construction Administration for the South Cary Water Reclamation Facility Thermal Biosolids Dryer Rotary Drum Replacement project ("Project"). Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Town of Cary for an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid; or in lieu of the Bid Bond, the bidder may offer the bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, or a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Cary, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Bidders shall provide certification that performance and payment bond sureties are licensed in North Carolina. The Town is issuing this RFQ for a qualified, experienced Consultant team to provide a turn-key Project that includes the following major tasks related to the SCWRF Thermal Biosolids Dryer Rotary Drum Replacement project. Major tasks shall include the following: Condition Assessment of Drum Dryer Condition Assessment of Screw Conveyor Review of Alternatives to Screw Conveyor Recommendation for Drum Dryer Recommendation for Screw Conveyor Compile Procurement Specifications and Cost Estimates Project Management and Construction Administration Questions Due Date: April 12, 2019 no later than 2:00 PM EDT Direct Inquiries To: Jarrod A.
