Cost Estimate is above $2,000,000. Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, services and equipment necessary to complete the "Renovations for Gosinski Park" , 43 Ronald Road - Gosinski Park, Terryville, CT. The award of this project is dependent on funding by the DOH/Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, and other funding resources. The lowest response of bid will be included as part of the finance application, with expected results in mid-September 2019 or shortly thereafter. The project scope includes: Gut renovations and additions of (5) units to create ADA compliant layouts. Bathroom renovations, kitchen renovations, painting, and flooring overlay at 55 units. Parking lot re-milling and minor expansion. Community building kitchenette expansion, bathroom renovations, and interior finishes upgrades. Community building addition. Hot water tanks and electrical panel replacements. Proposed forms of Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications dated April 2, 2019, as prepared by Quisenberry Arcari Malik, LLC will be on file at the Gosinski Park Community Room, Terryville, CT and available to contractors for viewing upon request. Note: Addenda to this bid will be issued via email. Contractors intending to bid must be registered on the Advanced Reprographics Planholder's list in order to receive direct email of any and all addenda. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to: Kyle J. White, kwhite@qamarch.com. To be given consideration, RFI's must be received by 5:00pm, Friday, April 12th 2019. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instruction will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be forwarded by electronic mail to all prospective bidders (at the respective email addresses furnished for such purposes), not later than two days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of prevailing wages, and compliance with certain local and state requirements. All bidders, contractors, and workers are to comply with the specified background checks, are not to be excluded of the OIG Exclusions Database, are to be fully licensed in Connecticut, and are not to be excluded of the CT Debarment List. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after the opening of bids, without the consent of the above Housing Authority. The Housing Authority of the Town of Plymouth reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality, or; to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Housing Authority.
