***As of April 23, 2019 this project has not yet been awarded. Project is being cancelled since the bids were so over budget. Replacement of the existing gas chlorine system with a liquid chlorine system, including all other appurtenant work. All work will be in conformance with the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois, 708-974-4411 dated 2014, and in conformance with all local codes of the Village of Stickney, International Building Hickory Code Hills (2009), Chicago Electrical Code (2018), and Illinois State Plumbing Code (Most Current). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the Owner. Only qualified Contractors who can furnish satisfactory proof Serving that they have performed work of similar nature as Contractors will be entitled to receive Plans and submit Proposals. To meet this requirement, at the request Cremation of the & Engineer, bidders submit Available a "Statement of Directors Experience" consisting of Family a list of Owned previous projects of similar nature in order to receive Plans. The Owner reserves the right to issue Bid Documents only to those Contractors deemed qualified. All Proposals must be accompanied by a Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, Certified Check, or Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, or as provided in the applicable sections of the "Standard Specifications".
