Village of Northbrook that sealed bids will be received for the construction of 4,450 linear feet of six-inch and eight-inch water main in the Northbrook Park Subdivision, located in the Village of Northbrook, Illinois. Work SiteU: Woodlawn Road, from Western Avenue to Shermer Road and Penfold Place located in the of Northbrook, Illinois. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Village of Northbrook for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance bond and a contract bond in the full amount of the bid. All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq. and Employment of Illinois Works on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/). Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmissions or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village of Northbrook reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding process or in any Bidder's Proposal and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. The bidder's attention is called to the Village's policy of not allowing the procedure of trailing lien waivers.
