As of January 8, 2024, construction is underway. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Intermodal Transportation Facility West (ITFW) Enabling Project Mandatory Business Enterprise Participation - SBE (20%); LBE (10%); LSBE (5%) & DVBE (3%); Swinerton is seeking subcontractors interested in bidding the LAX ITFW Enabling project work which will bid in the immediate near future. The scope of the project is listed below, and all interested subcontractors should execute the NDA and return immediately to Swinerton to receive access to the drawings. Please note that this is anticipated to be an accelerated and fast track project. Small Businesses, Local Businesses, and DVBE’s are encouraged to participate in this work. Scope of work includes: Demo, Earthwork, Site concrete, AC paving, Striping, Traffic signs, Signage, Landscape and irrigation, UG Utilities, Electrical, Data/Comm/Security, Fencing, Site furnishing, Concrete Caisson, Traffic Signal, Modular Building, and Metal railing General Project Description: 1. Central Terminal Area Curb improvement and marking reconfiguration. a) Removal of inner curb marking to allocate for bus use only. b) Installment of a sidewalk extension c) Restriping lanes on the inner roadway. d) Striping pickup zone on the outer curb. e) Remarking outer curb edge for public passenger pickup. 2. Bus drop off site improvements including followings, but not limited to: a) Demolition of existing features: pavement, trailer utility lines and structures, walls and fences. b) Relocation of existing features: monitoring wells and fire hydrants c) Construction of: driveways, ADA curb ramps, walls, fences, roadways, raised medians, pavements markings modifications of existing traffics, storm drain system, sewer line, water line, power and electrical supplies lighting, security system, wayfinding signs, landscapes, restroom, breakroom and street furniture’s. 3. Pedestrian cross terminal access path. a) Curb ramp and sidewalk pathway between southern and northern terminal access.
