The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Tennis Center Concessionaire Contract for the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area Tennis Center, located at 1201 South Portrero Street, South El Monte, CA 91733. The Department is seeking proposals from qualified organizations or individuals with experience in the operation, management, and maintenance of a Tennis Center. Proposers must meet all minimum mandatory requirements set forth in the RFP document. A person with disability may contact the Contracts Division at (626) 588-5292 at least three (3) days before the Mandatory Proposers Conference to request alternative formats or other accommodations. The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation will make every effort to accommodate persons with disabilities. Pursuant to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Department has designated an ADA Coordinator to effect compliance with the non-discriminatory provisions of the ADA. Upon three (3) day request/notice, sign language interpretation and related materials in alternative formats (Braille-transcript, large print, audio-record, video captioning, etc.) or any other accommodations are available for County of Los Angeles sponsored activities and events. The Contract is anticipated to commence on the first day of the month following Board of Supervisors award.
