The Project consists of constructing system wide rehabilitation of the downtown sanitary sewer system consisting of the following approximate major quantities of work: 1. Isolated Service Tap Repairs (Depth Varies) - 250 EA 2. 8"-15" Diam. Sewer Main CIPP/Fold & Form Liner - 25,345 L.F. 3. 8" Diam. Sewer Main 10' Point Repair (Depth Varies) - 45 EA 4. Manhole Cementitous Lining - 245 VF All persons awarded and/or entering into contracts with the owner shall be subject to and required to comply with the applicable county, state and federal provisions pertaining to non discrimination, labor standards, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action on public contracts, the project is being partially funded by the following, small cities community development block grant program managed by the kansas department of commerce and KDHE-SRF loan. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, section 3 of the 1968 housing act, segregated facility, section 109 of the 1984 housing and community development act, the civil rights act of 1964 and executive order 11246. MBE, WBE and DBE are encouraged to submit bids for this work. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities therein. Mobilization, traffic control, CCTV inspection of 24,200 LF of existing sewer mains, and inspection of 59 existing manholes. Priority 1 project: rehabilitate apprx 15,700 LF of 10", 12" and 15" sewer main with a CIPP/Fold & Form Liner process, and perform rehabilitation/replacement on identified deficient manholes in the project area.
