Vienna Police Department Building, 210 West Union Street Existing roofing materials should be removed and properly disposed of Install (1) layer of 15# roofing felt paper Install new metal drip edge Submit BID 1 for installing 25-year laminated composite shingles similar to ones currently installed Submit BID 2 for installing Architectural shingles for more wind resistance Replace all existing flashing with new flashing All scraps and trash should be removed and properly disposed of After the project is complete, the area around the building should be scanned with magnet to remove all nails All work should be performed incompliance with the current Southern Building Code All work requires inspection/approval by Building Inspector Gary Houston Contractor must provide proof of Workers Compensation Insurance Contractor must provide proof of General Liability Insurance The payment schedule for this project is: The City will issue Payment #1 (25% of the total project cost) when the Authorization To Proceed is issued The City will issue Payment # 2 (65% of the total project cost) when the project is completed and the project has been inspected/approved by Building Inspecto The City will issue Payment # 3 (10% of the total project cost) thirty days after Payment #2 Cost estimate $10-15K
