Construction of a new acute care tower with 216 beds, 16 operating rooms, a larger emergency department and an intensive care units. Method of delivery will be Design, Build, Finance, and Maintain ("DBFM"). TIMELINE: Plenary PCL Health has been selected as the preferred DBFM team; negotiations are underway to finalize the contract. Site work is ongoing. Building design is ongoing; construction schedules may be confirmed late 2024/early 2025. Cost to be confirmed.
