Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Contractors to remove the existing generator, extend the concrete slab to accommodate the new 950KW generator, install additional conduits and wiring back to the MCC room, install the new generator along with the associated fuel piping systems and wire connections. *Plans must be requested by completing the Construction Plan Set Sign Out Form and emailing it to pur_div@martin.fl.us. Plan download instructions will be provided. Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Contractors to remove the existing generator, extend the concrete slab to accommodate the new 950KW generator, install additional conduits and wiring back to the MCC room, install the new generator along with the associated fuel piping systems and wire connections. The work of this Contract comprises the construction of the infrastructure site work. The work will include but not be limited to site preparation, earthwork, walkway restoration, existing fuel tank removal and generator removal, concrete work, electrical work and construction, and installation of a new generator. The location of the new generator will be at the Dixie Park Repump Facility located at 5956 SE Inez Ave, Stuart, FL, 34997. The existing generator and fuel tank are located in the southwest corner of the property Substantial completion shall be within 180 calendar days (from issuance of Notice to Proceed). Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day. The cost estimate for this project is $1,010,500.00.
