Range for Engineer's Estimate: $860,000.00 - $1,040,000.00 Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, and appurtenances required for the Chalk Bluff Water Treatment Plant Backup Power Generator project. The Site of Work is 9605 S McCarran Blvd, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. The Work for this Project includes multi-trade work including piping and electrical work associated with the new generator and gear. The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following major components of Work: demolition of existing concrete and electrical gear; equipment pad modifications and additions; provide new diesel engine powered generator, synchronization gear, and other associated electrical controls; modify existing switchgear and controls to integrate the new engine generator and controls with the existing generator system; conduit routing and wiring; fuel piping and valving; outside fuel storage tank and inside day tank; cooling water piping and valving. TMWA will provide a consultant to perform material testing, special inspection, and quality assurance. TMWA will accept and entertain bids from only those Bidders in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and mandatory site visit. No exceptions made. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder. TMWA also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed in Nevada Revised Statute 338.147. Anticipated Start Date: on or Before January 28, 2019. Completion Deadline: November 22, 2019 The cost for all bid documents is non-refundable. A $250.00 deposit is required due to Homeland Security issues before any Bid Documents may be purchased. Complete plans and specifications must be returned to TMWA within thirty (30) days of Bid Opening or the deposit will be forfeited The bid proposal package comprised of the: Bid Bond, Bid Schedules, Local Preference Affidavit (if applicable) and Acknowledgement and Execution is stapled and found in the inside front cover of the Contract Documents/Specifications. Proposals must be submitted on the stapled bid proposal package to be considered a responsive and responsible bid. Truckee Meadows Water Authority will not consider a Bid received if there is an omission of or failure to complete any portion of the required documents prior to the time of Bid Opening. Do not submit the entire bid book. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent of the amount bid in the proposal. It is each bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their bid..
