As of January 24, 2019, this project has not yet been awarded . The project is expected to be award January 28,2019. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC") as of the date and time of the bid opening in one of the following categories: C008 - General Construction; or C009 General Construction/Alterations and Additions; or C032 - HVACR Bidders classified by the DPMC as either C008 or C009 shall be required to subcontract with subcontractors that are classified as C032, C029 Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron, and C047 Electrical, such subcontractors shall be listed in the bid, and all documentation required by the bid instructions and by law shall be provided for such subcontractor. Bidders classified by the DPMC as C032 shall be required to subcontract with subcontractors that are classified as either C008 or C009, C029 Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron, and and C047 Electrical, such subcontractors shall be listed in the bid, and all documentation required by the bid instructions and by law shall be provided for such subcontractor. Bids shall be submitted on the provide proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond draw to the order of the "Middlesex Board of Education" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current Certificate from said Department indicating compliance at the time of bidding.
