**General Bid 10/24/18 11:00 A.M.** Department of Public Works Operations Garage Roof Replacement: DCAMM "roofing" - Removal and replacement of existing built-up roof with a new single-ply EPDM roofing system consisting of tapered rigid insulation, cover board, and roof membrane, along with associated flashings, expansion joints, and roof edge metal, and disposal of asbestos containing materials. Includes new access ladder and guard rail. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form and filed Sub-bid Form. Final Completion within 60 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The Work includes the following major items: a. Temporary removal of small rooftop equipment as necessary to facilitate roof replacement and curb repair or replacement and re-flashing. b. Removal and disposal of entire inverted membrane roof system, including gravel, insulation, flashings, asbestos containing materials as specified, and any of the original built-up roof not sufficiently sound or well-adhered to function as a vapor barrier in the new roof system.
