Work includes the installation of approximately 1950 lineal feet of 8-inch waterline including valves, fittings, water meters, services, fire hydrants, connections to existing mains, paving, and ancillary items. The right is reserved as the interest of the Town of Delmar may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. All Contractors are required to adhere to the State of Delaware M/WBE requirements for M/WBE participation. All Bidders must use to the greatest extent feasible minority, women, and/or disadvantaged businesses and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in considering businesses for subcontracting and/or material/equipment supplies.
