Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same and shall be accompanied by either: A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.571; or A certified check or cashier's check, made payable to "Metro Parks", or a letter of credit meeting the requirements of Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount often ofthe bid amount, on a solvent bank, conditioned to provide that ifthe bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a proper contract for the work and provide the required bonds. The bidder whose bid is accepted shall be required to enter into a contract within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance. This project requires a bond in the full amount ofthe bid for faithful completion ofthe contract. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the date and time of bid opening and the project title. Substantial completion ofthis contract shall be within 180- calendar days ofthe date of contract signing. Metro Parks, or their designated agents will inspect the work under this contract. Completion bonus: Project Substantially complete by December 31, 2018 - $25,000. Metro Parks reserves the right to accept the lowest and most responsive bid, the right to waive irregularities in any proposal, the right to accept the proposal which promotes the best interest of the Board, and the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof. In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 307.87 this shall serve as notification that this notice is available on Metro Parks' internet web site by logging onto electronically. Go to About Us then click on Contract Bidding. Click on this project under Projects in Progress and you will be able to view the notice in PDF format.
