As of November 9, 2018, this project has been shelved. Mailed bids must be sent early enough to ensure they are received prior to the bid due date. This project consists of constructing a 40'x60' (2,400 sq. ft.) Shelterhouse with two gathering rooms inside. The scope of work includes concrete foundations & floor slab, wood stud wall framing, wood roof trusses, roof drainage, exterior & interior wall metal siding, metal roofing & ceiling panels, exterior windows, serving windows, passage doors, overhead garage doors, kitchen cabinetry, kitchen sink plumbing, and interior lighting & electrical outlet installation. This building shall not be heated or insulated since it will only be used seasonally. The Architect's opinion of probable construction cost is governed by Prevailing Wage Rates for Fulton County, Ohio. Combined Bid Estimate of all trades included in this work = $125,000.00 Questions regarding the scope of the project shall be directed to the Director of Operations, Todd Jenkins via email: petermansw@aol.com For inquiries of plan availability call the Architect's office at (419) 422-6672. A payment of Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) will be required for each printed set of detailed plans, specifications and contract documents obtained by bidders for bidding purposes. Checks shall be made payable to the "Village of Delta." and all paid for bidding documents become the property of the prospective bidder, with no portion of said payment being refundable. Cash is accepted for this payment. PDF Digital copies of the same bidding package will be made available at no charge upon request by bidders. PDF Digital copies may be printed by the bidder and used for bids. Should a bidder find any discrepancies, in or omissions from any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meaning, (s)he shall advise the Architect in writing, who will issue necessary addenda, or revised drawings, as may be appropriate. However, no request for clarification or information will be accepted within seventytwo (72) hours before the date and time on which bids are due. There will not be a scheduled Pre-Bid Meeting prior to the bids being opened. The successful Bidder must be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, which prohibits discrimination based on race, creed, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, handicap, political affiliation, or beliefs Proposals must be submitted on the bidding form furnished by the Village of Delta and must contain the name and contact information of the person, firm or corporation interested therein. Bids shall be sealed inside the delivery envelope and marked with this text centered across the front of the envelope: New Shelterhouse for the Village of Delta, Ohio The successful bidder will be required to execute an affidavit relative to delinquent personal property taxes pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.042 of the Ohio Revised Code prior to entering into a contract with the Village. Bidders must provide written proof of insurance and a Workers' Compensation Certificate. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid within Sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening. The Village of Delta intendsto accept the lowest & best bid for the project but reserves the right to reject any and all, or parts of any or all bids and to waive any minor informalities in any bid, or to make the award in the best interest of Village of Delta. Consideration shall be given to Contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources. The Village of Delta only intends to consider combined bids of all trades involved in this project with such a limited scope of work.
