The project includes demo/installation of a 30-ton rooftop A/C unit with an add for a new control system. Bidders are encouraged but not required to visit the site. All questions shall be asked via the PennBid website and must be submitted no later than 1:00 PM EDT on Tuesday September 4, 2018. Bids will be revealed at the conclusion of the bidding period on PennBid. Perkasie Borough Council Members will act upon the contracts within a period not to exceed 60 days from the opening of bids. Remove and dispose of existing RTU, disconnect electrical connections, and remove from dunnage. SCOPE OF WORK A. Building Management System (BMS), utilizing direct digital controls. B. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and service necessary for a complete and operating Building Control System (BCS), utilizing Direct Digital Controls (DDC) as shown on the drawings and described herein. C. The BCS shall perform control algorithms, calculations and all monitoring functions. The BCS shall provide operator interaction and dynamic process manipulation, including overall system supervision, coordination and control. D. This shall include HVAC control, metering, energy management, alarm monitoring, and all trending, reporting and maintenance management functions related to normal building operations all as indicated on the drawings or elsewhere in this specification.
