*As of November 5, 2018, a general contractor has been awarded. The project is for the replacement of four (4) existing hydraulic passenger elevators in an existing facility which will remain in operation during repairs, all as more fully set forth in the Specifications and Drawings. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2018. A copy of a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the work required must accompany each general bid and filed sub-bid on this contract. A Contractor Qualification Update Statement must also accompany each general bid. Any general bid submitted without the appropriate Certificate of Eligibility and Contractor Qualification Update Statement shall be invalid. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party. Attention is called to the minimum rates of wages to be paid on the work as determined under the provisions of Chapter 149, Massachusetts General Laws, Sections 26 to 27D, inclusive, as amended, and as set forth in the Contract Documents, which the contractor will be required to pay.
