The project includes ADA and Fire Life Safety Improvements including plumbing, finishes, modification to the fire alarm system and exterior site improvements associated with the installation of sprinkler system and exterior site improvements all within an existing Detention facility that will remain occupied throughout construction. The prime contractor for this project shall hold a valid Class B General Building Contractor license. Each bid is to be in accordance with the drawings and specifications on file at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, First Floor, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California. Drawings and specifications are not available for purchase at the 255 Glacier Drive location. Drawings and specifications (not including documents included by reference) and proposal forms may be obtained by prospective bidders via the Contra Costa County Public Works Department.
