Construction start date: 2/1/2018 no completion published. The contract time for this project shall be 300 consecutive calendar days from the effective date designated in the Notice to Proceed. From the effective date noted in the Notice to Proceed (NTP) letter, the Contractor shall proceed with his preparatory work such as preparing and forwarding submittals, obtaining approvals, obtaining permits, and other work as approved by the University Prevailing rate of wages project (state determination) Consists of selective demolition work; renovation of rooms into laboratory, work room, and classrooms for students with new interior concrete work, flooring, base, wall painting, and ceilings with air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm work for a complete installation; electrical and mechanical work equipment and related structural supports installed on the 4th level roof; replace existing windows with new window shading devices; cutting, patching and repair of the existing 4th level roofing membrane with base flashings, sheet metal counterflashings for watertight construction; new laboratory casework, equipment and furnishing as indicated on the drawings; removal of portions of the existing lath and plaster ceiling, cement board on the second and third floor ceilings directly underside of the existing open web joists framing and replace it with a new gypsum board and hat channel system; work relative to mechanical and electrical systems, requiring access to spaces outside of the project area, electrical demolition of receptacles and mechanical equipment feeders; provide new receptacles, and electrical panel board, electrical feeders to mechanical and laboratory equipment, and other wiring incidental to the installation; Provide infrared thermography studies of the entire Bilger level 3 and level 4 roofs; hazardous materials removal work and 3rd party air monitoring; and other miscellaneous related work indicated on the drawings and specified herein.
