WBS Element No. 42346.3.1 Federal-Aid No. IMNHF-040-4(139)301 Counties: Wake and Johnston Route No. I-40 Miles: 12.8 Location: I-40 from I-440 / US 64 (Exit 301) to just north of SR 1525 (Cornwallis Road), including improvements to NC 42 and SR 1010 (Cleveland Road) The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is requesting interested Design-Build Teams submit qualifications for a Design-Build Project. The project, TIP I-5111 / I-4739, will widen I-40 from the I-40 / I-440 / US 64 interchange in Wake County to just north of SR 1525 (Cornwallis Road) in Johnston County, a distance of approximately 12.8 miles. The project will also modify interchanges and replace bridges along I-40. Interested parties should send a request, by e-mail only, to rfq_package_request@ncdot.gov for a formal package detailing the requirements for submitting a Statement of Qualifications. Technical questions related to the RFQ package, or other project related questions, should be sent via e-mail to designbuild@ncdot.gov. For tracking purposes, questions will only be answered through e-mail requests.
