Liquidated Damages:$1,000.00 This Project constitutes a "public works" project within the meaning of California Labor Code section 1720 and is subject to the prevailing wage laws. Bidder should familiarize itself with the prevailing wage provisions in Article 13 (Statutory Requirements) of the City's General Conditions. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. Bidders will not be released on account of errors except that the City reserves the right to waive any minor irregularity or informality in any Bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check made payable to the City of Santa Monica, or a Bidder's bond (using the form provided in the Bid Form) for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract with the City.
