The deadline to submit questions is October 9, 2023 The scope includes but is not limited to a total gut renovation to Sturges Hall, a new elevator and shaft, new aluminum clad wood insulated glass windows, water to water high efficiency heat pumps for cooling and heating, and remaining building system upgrades including fire protection, plumbing, power, and communications. Submissions should emphasize the firm's significant past experience in providing construction phase CM services for public institutions and institutional clients in a complete and expeditious manner. The current estimated construction value is approximately $21,000,000. The Project consists of the full renovation of Sturges Hall. Sturges was constructed in 1938 and consists of 43,000 GSF and 3 stories plus a garden/basement level with lower grade exit access. The project will provide renovated spaces for the following programs: Registrar offices and support, Study and Tutoring Center, Communications, History, Political Science academic departments, Access Opportunity Program, Community Prevention Coordination, Culture Commons, Health & Counseling, Title IX/ Diversity, Open Study, and flex space areas. The existing Auditorium will be restored as well.
