The Work consists of construction of new facilities, structures, and improvements to increase the wet weather treatment capacity, as part of the Overflow Control Program (OCP) at the Westside Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), including but not limited to:1. Existing Main Electrical Building Modifications (Process Area 00). 2. Site Work (Process Area 01). 3. Yard Piping (Process Area 01 4. Existing Aerated Grit Basin Modifications and Installation of CEPT Feed Piping (Process Area 20). 5. Existing Aeration Basin Modifications (Process Area 30). 6. New Air Compressor Facility (Process Area 40). 7. New Final Clarifier Splitter Structure (Process Area 40). 8. New Final Clarifier No. 3 and No. 4, BidAlternate No. 1 (Process Area 40). 9. New Return Activated Sludge/Waste Activated Sludge (RAS/WAS) Pump Station (Process Area 40). 10. New Prefabricated Equipment Building (Process Area 40). 11. Existing RAS Piping Modifications (Process Area 41 ). 12. New Disinfection Basin No. 3 (Process Area 50). 13. New Disinfection Basin Drain Pump Station No. 2 (Process Area 50). 14. New Disinfection Building No. 2 (Process Area 55). 15. Existing Effluent Pump Station Modifications (Process Area 60). 16. Repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility As of November 28, 2018, a general contractor has been awarded. A firm timeline for construction has not yet been established, but construction is not expected to begin until after the start of 2019.
