Bid IFB No: 0048-16-RWT-BC FPID: 430147-1-58-01 Federal Project: 7777-237-A IFB Name: 6th Avenue Sidewalk Project. Scope Of Work: The work consists of: reconstruction of 6th Avenue from east of US 27 (Monroe Street) to Gadsden Street, which will include new curb & gutter, new pedestrian facilities on both sides of 6th Avenue, drainage upgrades, utility adjustments and milling/resurfacing. Improvements are also included on Gadsden Street, from 6th Avenue to just north of Ingleside Avenue, which will include pedestrian facilities on the east side on Gadsden Street only, along with minor drainage and driveway modifications. PREQUALIFICATION: Bids will be accepted ONLY from those prospective bidders (prime contractors) pre-qualified by the City of Tallahassee. Refer to the "Instructions to Bidders" in the bid documents for information. For information regarding these and other City of Tallahassee Bids, all interested vendors may contact the City of Tallahassee, Procurement Services at (850) 891-8280 or through FRS TDD at 711. Bidders should note that the City has MBE Goals for all contracts, which exceed $100,000. For information regarding the City's MBE Policy you may contact the City's MBE Office at (850) 891-6500. For City Fast Track bids, and on a bid-by-bid basis for Non-Fast Track bids, Bidders are required to be Pre-Qualified by the City's Engineering Division for Roadway, Building, Underground Utility or Landscape Contracting. The City maintains an ongoing process for qualifying bidders and will accept applications at any time.
