Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, is requesting proposals for the LAWRENCE COUNTY JAIL - GRINDER PROJECT. This project includes furnishing and installing an open channel electric grinder, concrete grinder vault and all associated plumbing and electrical. The project will be performed under two (2) separate contracts: General Construction and Electrical Construction. Contract 1 General Construction Contract 2 Electrical Construction Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal be accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Lawrence County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such award as most advantageous to the County. Bids may be held by Lawrence County for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract or rejecting any or all bids.
