SUMMARY A. Section Includes: General description of Project and location. 1.02 SITE LOCATION A. Project location is along Spring Street and south of West Lancaster Avenue in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. B. Exact location of Project is as indicated on "Location Map" on first sheet of Drawings. 1.03 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. Without intending to limit or restrict extent of work required under this Contract, Work to be performed comprises the following: 1. Replacement of approximately 379 linear feet of 36-inch diameter storm sewer within Spring Street. 2. Provide without additional compensation, any apparatus, material and labor not specifically mentioned in specifications or indicated on Drawings, that is necessary to complete or perfect any portion of work in a substantial manner and in compliance with requirements implied or intended in these Contract Documents. This includes materials, devices or methods peculiar to the apparatus or system provided. 1.04 DRAWINGS A. Project Drawings: The Drawings listed on Sheet No. 1of the set of Drawings accompanying this Project Manual are hereby made a part of the Contract. The Work relative to each Contract is indicated on each Sheet in the set of Drawings. 1.05 SCHEDULING OPERATIONS A. Existing Facilities: The site of the work is an existing stormwater conveyance system and, when it is removed from service by work of this Project, may require the Contractor to provide a fail-safe (and properly sized) temporary means of continued stormwater flow. 1.06 MODIFICATIONS A. Owner and Engineer reserve right to make changes in order and execution of Work done under Contract as, in judgment of Engineer, may be necessary or expedient to Spring Street Storm Sewer Replacement 01110-1 Summary of Work
